Our client is a thriving boutique environmental consultancy that provides tailored environmental due diligence advice and property management services for sites located across the UK and Europe. It is currently seeking a Due Diligence Consultant to join its London team. In return, it provides a rewarding, nurturing and fun place to work.
This role will involve:
• Supporting the Principal Consultants with the day to day operation of the Environmental Property Management programmes across all applicable countries (currently Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, France and UK, but potentially others in the future).
• Undertaking site inspections for the purposes of Environmental Property Management and producing timely, accurate reports of the findings.
• Supporting the Environmental Due Diligence team by undertaking desk studies (review of datarooms, historical map information, environmental sensitivity, third party public databases, and Local Authority consultation) for industrial portfolios and single sites, predominantly within the UK.
• Undertaking site inspections for the purposes of Environmental Due Diligence (acquisitions and divestitures of multi-let industrial estates and / or single sites for a range of Clients) and producing timely, accurate and interpretive reports of findings.
In order to be considered for this role, you will have:
• A broad understanding and experience of Environmental Due Diligence (EDD), the process and the standard information required to generate an EDD report.
• Experience of site inspections for the purposes of EDD.
• Experience of dealing with clients and site-based personnel.
• Advanced Word and Excel skills and general IT confidence.
• Excellent attention to detail and written English, as well as the ability to produce concise, accurate and interpretive reports.
